2 กันยายน 2557 – นายซิคเว่ เบรคเก้ ได้รับแต่งตั้งเข้าดำรงตำแหน่งรักษาการประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ของบริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือดีแทค ในวันที่ 2 กันยายน 2557 แทนนายจอน เอ็ดดี้ อับดุลลาห์ ซึ่งได้ลาออกจากตำแหน่ง ปัจจุบันนายซิคเว่ เบรคเก้ ดำรงตำแหน่งรองประธานกรรมการดีแทค นายบุญชัย เบญจรงคกุล ประธานกรรมการบริษัทดีแทค อยู่ในระหว่างกระบวนการสรรหาผู้ที่จะมาดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารคนใหม่แล้ว
นายบุญชัยกล่าวว่า “ผมได้ขอให้คุณซิคเว่ เบรคเก้ มาดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารให้กับดีแทคเป็นการชั่วคราวในช่วงที่เราทำการสรรหาและแต่งตั้งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารคนใหม่ คุณซิคเว่ เบรคเก้ รู้จักดีแทคเป็นอย่างดี จากการเป็นรองประธานกรรมการและเคยเป็นประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารของดีแทคในช่วงปีพ.ศ. 2548-2551”
ปัจจุบันนายซิคเว่ เบรคเก้ ดำรงตำแหน่ง รองประธานบริหาร เทเลนอร์ กรุ๊ป และเจ้าหน้าบริหารสูงสุด เทเลนอร์ เอเชีย และยังคงดำรงตำแหน่งนี้ต่อไป

Sigve Brekke appointed interim Chief Executive Officer in dtac
September 2, 2014 – Mr. Sigve Brekke, the Vice Chairman of Total Access Communication PLC (dtac), will assume the role as the interim CEO of dtac. Mr. Jon Eddy Abdullah has resigned from his position as CEO of dtac. The Chairman of dtac, Mr. Boonchai Bencharongkul, has started the process of appointing a new CEO.
“Mr. Brekke has been asked to serve as the interim CEO of dtac until a new CEO has been identified. He has significant experience with dtac, currently acting on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman and previously heading up the company as CEO from 2005 to 2008,” says Mr. Boonchai Bencharongkul.
Mr. Brekke continues in his role as the Executive Vice President and head of Telenor Group’s Asia operations.
“dtac is in a strong position to capture market share and innovate to meet the growing demand for data services in Thailand. The company is firmly anchored to the strategy of delivering internet for all in Thailand and I look forward to contributing in my capacity as interim CEO,” says Sigve Brekke.
