After the latest update for iOS’ Facebook Application, iOS users could send facebook stickers via its chat system. However, Android users are left behind. Having to wait without knowing when the update of facebook’s sticker comes, or if it will ever come to Android is something mind bugging and we understand that clearly. This is why we are taking you step by step of how to enable the sticker feature on your Android phone.
Bombuok has posted the video tutorial on Youtube, showing step by step of how to bring Facebook sticker to Android and use it the way it is meant to be used. These steps are extremely easy. Sadly that the video is only in Thai language, no translation provided.
This is why we are here. APPDISQUS wants to share this great tip with you who are not a native Thai speaker, neither understand any of Thai words. After reading this step by step tutorial, you will be able to have this iOS’ exclusive feature on your Android in just a minute of simple tasks. It is good to note again that rooting is not required here at all.
Now is the time. Follow the steps below to achieve what you are looking for.
1. Download and install the latest version of Facebook Messenger from Play Store.
2. Go straight to ‘Setting’ menu and enable ChatHeads function inside. (As shown on the picture above. We know that it’s in Thai but you won’t miss it) ChatHeads is only available in the latest version of Facebook Messenger. This function is allowing you to receive Facebook chat notifications anywhere on your smartphone screen even when you are not actively using Facebook application.
That’s it, you are now ready to use sticker on your Facebook chat. Super easy, right? Now, all you need to do is going back to your Facebook application and try chatting with one of your friend, your friend’s ChatHeads will show up on the screen. You can close the Facebook application now and start trying the rest on other screen instead just to make sure that everything is working correctly.
Firing the chat by touching on your friend ChatHeads. On the bottom left of chat screen, you will find a ‘+’ symbol as shows in the picture below. Touching around the red circle in the picture TWICE and the sticker screen will popup.
That’s it, you should already know what to do next. We don’t really understand why Mark believes that this function is needed to be hiding from publicity without a simple workaround.
